The English section comprises four English mother-tongue translators:
- John Pym (TMC Group Leader)
- Lisa Morris-Sobczynska (Deputy TMC Group Leader and ES Section Leader)
- Rosie Arscott
- Sarah Waller
TMC-ES is responsible for translating official CERN documents from French into English and for writing the minutes of official meetings of CERN bodies.
It also provides linguistic assistance for the drafting of official documents, in particular those submitted to the Council and its committees.
The section is also in contact with outside translation agencies and freelance translators for translations into languages not covered by its members or for work that they cannot handle within reasonable deadlines.
The section does not provide translations requiring official certification. Please consult the official list of
sworn translators of the Canton of Geneva.
